Gift of the Month

Are you already thinking about Christmas 2009? Do you want to have a "Handmade Christmas"? If you answered "yes" to both of these questions, then you have come to the right place.

I want to have a Handmade Christmas and I thought "what if I challenge myself to make a minimum of one gift per month? I would have 12 gifts ready for Christmas (maybe more, depending on my time.)

I discussed the idea over at my blog "Humble Quilter" and several people were interested. Then I happened upon Freda's Hive where she has started "Handmade Christmas 2009" and is listing lots of ideas, links, etc. for projects for a Handmade Christmas. I think these two ideas could work "hand-in-hand". Go to Freda's Hive for ideas, and you can use this blog to post pictures and comments about what you've made.

If you would like to join, please comment and be sure to include your email so I can send you an "invite" to the blog which will enable you to post pictures, etc.

Ready, Set, Go......Let's have a Handmade Christmas 2009 by making a Gift of the Month!
